Everyone who’s been to Nok by Alara has been wowed. From the main Alara store to Nok, this space is all art – and yes, down to the food! If a place has an amazing art collection, extensive wine list and great seafood, it’s probably a place you want to be for a romantic date. The Grillroom scores well on all of them. After dinner, step into the pool terrace and watch the stars.

Casper & Gambini’s took over the space previously occupied by Cafe Vanessa, an old favourite which closed in 2015. They have done a great job with the space – both on the outside and in with the dark woods and bricks. There is something for everyone on the extensive menu at Casper & Gambini’s. This rustic place might be more suited to a casual weekday lunch date as it gets a tad crowded at night and weekends (obviously depends on your date).
